Bekaa - one of the target areas of Syrian refugees
Report from Caritas Lebanon: 8.5 thousand Syrians fled to north Lebanon during the first half of April. It is very difficult to get help to the refugees because they are scattered in different towns and villages. Caritas Lebanon field workers in particular have problems with deliveries to more remote areas such as the village of Masharie el Qaa near the border of Syria. This is due to strict security measures and the recent incidents in this village.

Visitors show their passports to peacekeeping forces, who are Russian troops, and finally they must fill in a form and have their passports re-checked by Transnistria customs officers.
